Pat Grant

Drama @ WAMA is taught by local actor, Pat Grant.

 

Pat hails from Waterford City where he resides with his wife and young family. Over the past 20 years he has worked in various capacities with all local musical societies.

Holding 11 All-Ireland titles in performance, his personal highlight of these is singing at The National Concert Hall.

He has won 5 All-Ireland titles with the No Name Club (Dungarvan), 9 All-Irelands with Macra na Feirme (Kilmacow), and wrote mini-dramas for Slieverue Youth Club, winning in Ossary Youth for 11 consecutive years.

 

In addition to various end of year variety concerts, Pat has directed "Joseph", "Godspell" and Sam Cree's "Widows Paradise" for Eglise Players (Kilkenny). He has also choreographed "Anything Goes", "Annie", "Bye Bye Birdie", "Crazy For You", "Fiddler On The Roof", "Joseph", "Grease", "Guys & Dolls", "Godspell", "Oklahoma", and "West Side Story".

 

His training includes the Grant Power School of Performing Arts, the South Eastern Model Agency, Learn To Dance Ireland, Youth Work Training, Occupational First Aid and a Child Awareness Programme. Pat has also completed a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Social Studies in Social Care.

 

 

Trish Roche

 

Trish Roche is an Associate Member of the International Dance Teachers Association, a graduate of the London Contemporary Dance School and Dance City Performing Arts UK.  Trish has been teaching dance for 15 years in the UK and Ireland and loves sharing dance with her students, encouraging self-esteem, confidence, self-expression & creativity.  Trish is very excited to join the team at WAMA and will be teaching a fusion of dance styles including Ballet, Contemporary and Lyrical Dance.

 

 

 

 

Ali Reville

 

Alice Reville has been involved in the performing industry since a young age and has performed on numerous stages in Waterford and around the country. Growing up she trained under Erica Delaney Hayes in the Richie Hayes Stage School, and Edel Quinlan in Centre Stage School of Dance. She was also in two of ‘Little Red Kettles’ summer shows, ‘The Island of Lost Children’ and ‘Time Quest’. In 2010 she became an assistant dance teacher in the Richie Hayes Stage School and taught there for three years. In 2013, Alice was offered a place in Irelands premier dance college, the College of Dance in Dublin where she trained full time professionally for two years. Here she trained in Classical Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Jazz Dance, Tap, Pilates, Vocal Studies, Anatomy and Nutrition. Alice has also done a wide variety of classes and workshops which range from hip-hop to ballet with choreographers and dancers from U.K. and Europe. In 2015 she danced in 'All Tvvinns' new music video 'Thank You'. Alice graduated from the College of Dance in July 2015 with a Diploma in professional dance. Alice also has a love for choreographing and has choreographed numerous of shows with casts of all ages, her most recent show being ‘Grease’ with TheatreBox Studios.
